If you remember creating a Government Gateway account but don\u2019t remember your user ID, don\u2019t worry, we\u2019ve all been there. We\u2019re here to help. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’ve forgotten your User ID<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are a couple of things you can do if you don\u2019t remember your Government Gateway user ID or password. These include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. You can call HMRC on 0300 2003600<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Or, you can search your email inbox<\/strong> for an older email from HMRC that looks like this:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Now what exactly is it that you\u2019re looking for? Any old emails that have come specially from HMRC\u2019s Government Gateway services. It might be deep in your emails or potentially even your junk\/spam mail. A quick search in the search bar should clear it up for you. It\u2019ll look like the below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
