Remember, a director\u2019s name will need to be printed on the balance sheet and signed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Profit and loss account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Outline of your sales, running costs, and any profit or loss made over the last financial year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Notes about the accounts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Any additional details and explanations about the figures you\u2019ve included. This helps HMRC understand your numbers (and avoids confusion and fines!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Auditor\u2019s report<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You might need this, depending on the size of your company since small companies are usually exempt. You\u2019ll face an initial penalty of \u00a3150, and the longer you delay, the more this penalty increases. If your delay extends beyond three months, the fines can quickly add up.
